A tiny cat with a big meow bumped into a solitary striped feline and instantly knew they were meant to be lifelong companions.
Moxie, the adorable orange tabby kitten, was discovered in a garage along with his sister by a caring homeowner. Despite waiting for their mother to return, she was nowhere to be found, leaving the kittens in need of help. The homeowner reached out to Sarah Kelly, the compassionate founder of Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue in North Carolina, seeking assistance for the tiny felines.
Sarah noted that the kittens appeared to be premature, with Moxie’s sister, Clove, being significantly smaller than him. Recognizing the daunting challenge ahead, Sarah wasted no time in providing them with round-the-clock intensive care. She ensured they stayed warm, hydrated, and well-fed through tube-feeding, giving them the best possible chance at survival.
Patrick, the ginger cat, was rescued by Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue. Sadly, despite efforts to save them both, Clove passed away. Patrick, however, continued to persevere and slowly started to eat well. Sarah made sure he didn’t feel lonely, spending quality time with him and showing him affection. Gradually, Patrick began to open his eyes and move around his space, showing signs of curiosity and exploration.
He was discovered hanging out with his sister in someone’s garage by Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue. With his curious and attention-seeking nature, Sarah decided to find another kitten his age to keep him company and assist in his social development.
Coincidentally, Sarah received news about a tiny abandoned kitten that required a lot of tender loving care at the same time.
With a bouncy step, he began to flourish once again at Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue. Sarah recounted the heartbreaking story of a tiny tortie named Moxie, who was abandoned in a paper bag outside a vet clinic. Found dehydrated, freezing, and severely underweight for her age, Moxie weighed less than she should have, despite being older than a kitten named Patrick. “She was all fluff, bones, and a whole lot of personality,” Sarah shared with Love Meow.
Moxie was discovered outside of a veterinary clinic in a paper bag by the kind folks at Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue. After being brought in, she spent the day getting warmed up and having her temperature regulated in an incubator. This helped bring life back into her little body, and soon she was on her feet, meowing loudly for room service. Join Patrick and Moxie in a heartwarming video showcasing their adorable meows. Sarah from Love Meow describes Moxie as a spirited and courageous kitty, always vocal and determined to get what she wants. Coming to the rescue shortly after Patrick lost his sister, Moxie’s resemblance to her felt like a special gift to him.
After receiving the proper care, she regained her strength and revealed a spirited attitude at Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue. Once both were declared healthy, Moxie immediately took Patrick under her care without a second thought. They soon became inseparable in the playpen, acting like long-lost siblings.
Moxie and Patrick hit it off right away, forming a strong bond at the rescue center run by Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue. Sarah shared with Love Meow how their friendship filled a void in Patrick’s heart and helped both of them flourish. “Moxie not only lifted our spirits but also Patrick’s. It was love at first sight for him.”
Patrick has completely fallen in love with his new lifelong sister at Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue. The two inseparable buddies have thoroughly checked out every corner of their cozy kitty room and have even become pals with the other foster kittens in the household. According to the staff, Moxie is a spirited and self-reliant young lady who takes charge, while Patrick is a cuddly and fun-loving goofball. They clearly have a blast together and make quite the adorable duo.
They made friends with other foster kittens at Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue. Patrick absolutely loves Moxie and sticks by her side wherever she goes. It’s like they were destined to be together, they’re truly kindred spirits.
